One of St. Louis' best kept secrets

Allied Photocolor is a full service digital imaging center. Allied's roots go back to 1940 when it opened as a commercial photography studio. The photographers shot for most of the major corporations in St. Louis being published in Life, Look, National Geographic, and major newspapers across the country. The studio was phased out in 1965 and the Photocolor lab was opened. The Allied portion came from acquiring assets. It has been producing traditional Color and B&W images for 45 years.
In 1990 we opened the Digital Imaging Center producing economical high quality scans and direct photo imaging using lasers. Hybrid technology of writing files to film was offered & there was a New application called Photoshop.

In September 2016, the current location, 3728 Market Street, Suite100, 63110, in the former Famous Barr Warehouse, allowed us more open space for large format.
Fabulous Watercolor, Canvas, Fabric and other media keep photography fresh, bring digital art into the physical realm & create closer reproduction of exisitng art than ever before.
